Chestnut Tree Stables & Equine Centre

Chestnut Tree Stables is a new equine facility situated in the heart of County Galway just outside Athenry.  We offer our clients a full range of Equine Reproduction Services of the highest standard. All the needs of todays horse producer are provided for , with the added advantage of a full time onsite equine veterinary surgeon.

We compete regularly on the Irish show jumping circuit to Grand Prix level and also provide a professional breaking and training service. All levels and ages of horse are welcome and we also prepare horses for sales if required. The onsite facilities include a large outdoor all weather arena, fully equipped equine reproduction facility, ample stabling and turn out paddocks.

We also offer professional breaking and training service. Well known on the SJAI circuit as producers of high quality showjumpers. We also provide a quality service in Sales preparation of young stock.

We offer top class professional service in the following : On site Veternary Surgeon, Artificial insemination using both fresh and frozen semen, Mare fertility treatment, Storage of frozen semen, Foaling Unit with 24hr supervision, Post Natal Care for foal and mare if required & Ultrasound Scanning
